When I sold my Simplicity Yoga Studio back in 2015, I transitioned from teaching 20+ classes per week, into the business that I have now - writing, researching, coaching and creating content day in and day out.
That means that I transitioned from being on my feet and training every day to sitting on my butt every. single. day.
After 6 months of sitting at my desk, I finally understood what all of my clients who sit at desks have been complaining about! I felt the aches in my knees, lower back pain started to show up, my jaw tightened, my hips felt tight and the grim statistic that we hear over and over again began to rear it’s ugly head - sitting is the new smoking.
And last butt not least - my booty actually got flatter!
I woke up one day and decided I need to change up my training game to suit my new lifestyle - and Rock Solid Booty was born.
I created tailored workouts that I could do from my desk or my home, within 20 minutes per day, that would act to firm up my booty and strengthen my muscles - and guess what? It worked like a charm.
My Husband and I both run a business, so I know what it's like to feel like you have no time. But moving my body has become a fundamental part of my every day life - simply because it helps me step into my day with confidence and vivacious energy to go after my dreams.
And if I can do it, with 2 kids, a husband, a house, a dog, chores and a business - you can do it too.
